The resort town of Osoyoos goes crazy with tourists by the beginning of June, so beat the crowds and consider visiting this beautiful destination in May. The weather is generally warm and the beaches empty enough to enjoy the beauty without stepping over sun-tanned bodies. Some brave people even swim in the lake this time of year, although I have never been that brave!

There are many great restaurants and pubs, and a great selection of hotels, ranging from high-end resort spas to affordable motels. The town offers many beautiful spots to photograph and outlook points with gorgeous vistas. Here are photos I took in April, and you can see that spring is truly a beautiful time to visit!
